max store looks good but I live in this neighbourhood and know the staff there...I think the service is not optimal. They are very rude and they don't know their own cheese. You want to buy mortadella salami, they won't slice and place it neatly on a paper, they dump it into a package. for what you pay the service is almost like loblows store. The quality of the merchandise is not great. I bought a cake once from there for someones birthday and it was off. If you want to buy cheese a better place is cheese boutique on ripley avenue. you go down on southkingsway and then go down south and turn left just before you get to queensway...it is worth the travel. If you want bread the best bakery on the village is hot over bakery..baguettes are fresh from the oven and they last 2-3 days...
