Flickr Forum: Fall Colours
The sweet days of summer shooting might be gone, but these fall colours certainly make for some gorgeous landscape photos.
I'm also really enjoying the leaf macros shots, and would love to take some myself, but most of my lenses seem to have a fairly long minimum focal length. Anyone have a recommendations for a good inexpensive macro lens?

Next theme: Waste (in honor of Waste Reduction Week in Toronto)
Didn't the zombie walk on the weekend kick ass for taking portraits?! I've been working on my photos since Sunday, and I don't think I'll be done until next weekend. Dear Toronto has a great video from the event. Sam of daily dose of imagery also has a great set up on his Flickr page. Great photos and videos aside, I did overhear a few zombie's complain about the ratio of photogs to zombies. What do you guys think?

Good shots all round; between Zombies and Fall colours everything is Red and Yellow this week.
I didn't think the Photog to Zombie ratio was too bad; and there were plenty who combined both roles. I didn't encounter many Zombies who were camera shy either. An event like this is bound to attract people with cameras; to me it was a photography wonderland; check out the blossoms in High Park in spring for something a lot worse.
what do you think about "waste"? open question to everyone. anything else the photographer prefer?

I'm sure there will be some very interesting interpretations. That pumpkin shot of Jerrold's is pretty impressive; it should get honourable mention...although by mentioning it here I guess it did.
I like most of the themes;it's nice when there's some ambiguity to stimulate the creative juices.
This time of the year really presents many opportunities for the photographer to document some vibrant natural colours. My photo, End of Summer, was taken as I was waiting for a co-worker to arrive. The spotted colours on the maple leaf caught my eye and I thought it might make an interesting image.
Again, sooo many great images here. Can't wait to see what "Waste" brings!
I'm new to the forum and just saying hello.
I checked out this guy's How To Meet Women website and he was giving away a free ebook.
I figured "what the heck? It's free!" and downloaded it.
The book is pretty darn good. I like the guy's writing style and I actually learned a thing or two I didn't know before. It's definitely worth checking out.
I put it up on rapidshare if anyone wants to check it out for themselves:

If there's anyone out there on this forum like me who wants to do better with women, then you're going to want to read this bad boy. I've already gotten two numbers thanks to what I learned!
(Okay, I'm not Don Juan yet, so sue me! lol)
