The blogTO Flickr Forum is a weekly sampling of themed photographs taken by Torontonians and aims to not only feature the talent they possess, but also spur dialogue and reveal the stories behind the images.

Today's collection of Toronto photographs is made up of responses to our call for photos that fit the theme "SHARP". These images were all recently submitted to the blogTO Flickr pool.

To the photographers: we'd love to hear about your photos. A little info on where it was taken and the story behind the photo is always a great start.

To the rest of you, feel free to ask questions to the artists, submit photos to the blogTO Flickr pool for next week's consideration, or just sit back and enjoy our weekly mosaic.

I shot the spiky plant (a burdock?) along the trails behind the famous Badlands (after I got fed up watching all the people trample all over the red hills).

I owe the sharpness to the natural backlighting, which makes the plant look 10x sharper.

Thanks for including my portrait of Rob. I had spent two hours reading the Magnum Photography book in the Eaton Centre. It costs a whopping 275 dollars so I figured better to stay for a while and save my change. As I was leaving there were three sharply dressed people right in front of me. I simply asked if they were up for an impromptu shoot and they all agreed. We headed out to the courtyard behind the Eaton Centre and took a few snaps. Never hurts to ask right??
