Flickr Forum - January 25th, 2008 - Shadow
The blogTO Flickr Forum is a weekly sampling of themed photographs taken by Torontonians and aims to not only feature the talent they possess, but also spur dialogue and reveal the stories behind the images.
Today's collection of Toronto photographs is made up of responses to our call for photos that fit the theme "SHADOW". These images were all recently submitted to the blogTO Flickr pool.
To the photographers: we'd love to hear about your photos. A little info on where it was taken and the story behind the photo is always a great start.
To the rest of you, feel free to ask questions to the artists, submit photos to the blogTO Flickr pool for next week's consideration, or just sit back and enjoy our weekly mosaic.
Continue for links to larger versions, and to check out the next theme.

First of all thank you for having me. :)
And story of this photo sounds like this:
Me and my friends went to Bon Echo for last warm weekend :)
Some of us arrived early and when we finally got there one of them was really excited how the beach is beautiful so we went off to lake. And it was gorgeous.
So I just said: "Stand still! Don't move!", put my camera to the bench (I didn't have tripod with me) and click :)
Thanks for including my photo!
I was playing with my new speedlight and shooting my (other) cats when Jezebel decided to participate and flex a claw. (She's our big scary looking cat with sharp talons, a slightly evil temperament who doesn't often leave her guarded 'pillow' on the couch.)
Thanks also for having me! Mine was taken under a sunny grille in Toronto's largest storm drain, Gargantua. Pictured are 3 out of the 4 kind folks who brought me along for the adventure. Unfortunately just beyond this point is where I slipped and broke my Sigma 10mm lens along with dislocating my shoulder and getting a nasty bruise on my hip.
