Flickr Forum: November 16th, 2007
The theme for this week's Flickr Forum was REFLECTIONS, and I think we got the most submissions yet for a theme.
Next week's theme is: CHANGE

I toyed with it in Photoshop (you probably knew that already) though I don't remember exactly the processes used. I do remember to be going through a high-contrast kick at the time which really helped bring out the grid of the Mies tower along with the reflection of the 3 other major financial towers (Scotiabank, CIBC, FCP) against the overcast sky.
I was also starting to play with curves. In doing so, these wonderful greens in the ring-like sculpture would pop out from behind dramatic scuffs and marks... so I ran with that.
Top it off with a cynical title, and there you have it.
(Alternate titles: One Ring To Rule Them All; Its power corrupts all who desire it.)
