Flickr Forum - October 13th, 2007 - ABSTRACT
NEW: Starting this week, we'll be featuring images based on weekly themes. Themes will be announced here, and within the discussion page of our Flickr pool.
This week's selections are "ABSTRACT" but next week, our selections will all fit the theme "ORANGE" - so get out there shooting and submitting your interpretations of the theme to the blogTO Flickr pool. We'll feature four images and annouce a new theme each and every Friday. The blogTO Flickr Forum continues with a little more focus...
These intriguing ABSTRACT images were recently submitted to the blogTO Flickr pool.
The blogTO Flickr Forum is a weekly sampling of themed photographs taken by Torontonians and aims to not only feature the talent they possess, but also spur dialogue and reveal the stories within the images.
To the photographers: we'd love to hear about your photos. A little info on where it was taken and the story behind the photo is always a great start.

My shot, the lower right one, was an inverted camera toss. I took my slr, set it for a timed exposure of about a second, and threw it up in the air for the exposure. Inverted the colours later, which is common for this type of shoot (a lot of people will also invert coloured smoke shots as well for effect).
Not recommended unless you're <i>really</i> confident that you can catch that $1000+ camera plus whatever lens is attached before it hits the pavement! More in my flickr stream too if people are interested.
The location is at Elgin Mills Road over Highway 404. I've since created another one <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/neuroticjose/1528607853/";>http://www.flickr.com/photos/neuroticjose/1528607853/<;/a> which is more abstract, similar concept but I took advantage of the S-Curve in the Scarborough stretch of the 401.
