This week's Flickr Forum is dedicated to Toronto's fabulous summer festivals.

For our photographers, we'd love to hear a bit about your photos. For the rest of you, feel free to ask questions or leave a comment about this week's selections.

Or you could just try to say "Friday Flickr Forum's fabulous festivals" five times fast...

Not much to say about this shot except it was lucky. Lucky to not be blocked, lucky do have the correct exposure and lucky to catch the dynamics of the motion.

I found that buskerfest was so busy that it made it difficult to find a vantage point without it being blocked by an head moving back and forth in front of you.

I was shooting at f2 with my 100mm prime on manual exposure so between the shallow depth of field, the changing illumination because of the flames and the rapid dynamic motion I am quite happy with this shot.

Thanks for including my shot. To be honest i wasn't thrilled with the results. I want to back during the day to reshoot it. Think I'm going to go back on Sunday. I used to love this ride as a kid.

Sorry Ryan I didn't see your question. Yes it was shot at the Ex.

I'm thrilled that you spotted my picture today. I guess you could say I'm "flipped out" over it. :-)
I wasn't expecting to stay the day at the busker festival, but the shows were great and so I arrived early to each shot in order to get a front row seat. This of course ended up with an even better vantage point for shooting photos.
It was starting to get dark when I shot the above photo so I pulled out my flash. I wasn't expecting it to do too much more than a general fill, but continue to be amazed at the Canon flash system with the power and ability to throw light. I shot the above from about 100 feet away and you can see everything clearly.
I love the expression on everyone's faces in this shot. it's what really makes it for me.
