Behold the winning photo in our recent photo contest to win a Beater Bike. We kept the theme broad (bike-themed) and in response we received an overwhelming number of amazing photos making it an almost impossible challenge for us to pick just one photo as the best.

But, we had to choose just one winning photo so we did. jesse+molls+car+bike (pictured above) was submitted by EvK1. We liked this because the submission was less literal (not just a bike) and we figured there might be a story to be told here. Hopefully we can get EvK1 to shed some light in the comments below.

I could use a new bike but as luck would have it I'm not eligible to participate in this photo contest. But you are. Starting today and running until 11:59PM August 10th (next Monday) we'll be accepting submissions for our latest photo contest with the winner peddling away with a new Beater bike.

Want to win it? All you need to do is submit a bike-themed photo to the blogTO Flickr pool. Tag your photo with "beaterbikeblogto" and that's it. A jury of blogTO's editorial staff will then convene and pick the photo we like the best. Limit three photo submissions per entrant and you must be a Toronto-area resident. Good luck!
