Definetly not the best gym in Toronto. It's small, gets crowed very quickly as you get to peak workout times like any other gym but because of the awkard layout it seems worse.. Staff is nice, but this location would not be my first choice. If you don't believe me check it out for yourself.

Insanely crowded from 5pm - onwards as well as on weekends - sometimes one has to sit and wait for 30 min+ to get a machine or spot to even stretch. The staff is nice, yes, but it's too crowded to focus.

I used to be a member here. Yes, it is clean, the staff is friendly and there is a nice range of equipment, but that's all irrelevant because it's virtually impossible to get in a workout with the sheer volume of people packed in there. If you can workout at off hours it's fine, but don't even attempt to go in there between 3 and 9 pm on weeknights or anytime on weekends. Constantly waiting in line for equipment makes for a crappy workout.

I'm writing to enquire about work experience at your gym. I am currently a level 2 qualified gym instructor in England, also studying sport at college and looking to gain experience in Canada to keep learning. I am 17 year old. Any feedback would be really appreciated. Kind regards, Tom.

Guys doing Curls in the Squat Rack. CURLS!! Seriously - otherwise overcrowded - GOOD trainers and Sales staff etc.. but members doing CURLS in the SQUAT RACK!!!
- Staring at mirrors in the rack - go home and be a Pre-madonna!

Otherwise good gym great classes and instructors - could use more free-weight space.

I'm a fan of Goodlife in general. But the Goodlife in Liberty Village is very small, and very busy, to the point I did not enjoy going at all. Although on the complete other end of the city, the Goodlife at 110 Eglinton Avenue East is MASSIVE, it has 4 huge floors, and is very nice and clean. Because of its big size, even at peak times directly after work (5pm-7pm), its still very manageable.
