ry-tron, I'd be wrong to draw any conclusions as to why he asked for no photos. The soul theft hypothesis likely has no merit. Maybe he figured the major back-lighting in the club would be a major obstacle for most photographers (it was a challenge for me), or maybe the paparazzi have been abusing the standard 'no flash' rule lately. Maybe he wanted to make sure the only people who had pictures were the real fans (many of whom had no qualms about snapping pix).

Regardless, I haven't seen decks spun like that since the last time I saw Mix Master Mike play with The Beastie Boys.]]>

What kind of DJ doesn't want proper coverage? No pictures of him working four tables simultaneously? Does the douche not realize how awesome he would've looked? Is he afraid they wouldn't look professional enough or some bullshit? It's the age of fucking facebook and youtube, the point isn't so much how good something looks as much as it is to just have evidence of its existence.
