Handy! Glad they picked such a convenient time.

Gloria, thanks for pointing that out - something I should have mentioned within the post itself is that I tended to avoid making picks for places you can typically visit any time day or night.

There's a lot of locations on the Doors Open site that are just open areas, parks and so forth - I wouldn't necessarily consider these eligible candidates (since they don't even have any doors). UofT Labyrinth and Ireland Park are both examples of this - they might be really cool to check out, but you can really go see them any time.

Same goes for some of my picks above - but in those cases there's value add of someone giving a tour, the architect being on site, and so forth.]]>

"The subway is planning to sleep in this Sunday morning.

Scheduled maintenance will close down the tracks on the University-Spadina line in both directions between St. Clair West and Union stations from 9 a.m. to noon. "

You never cease to amaze me Toronto.]]>

Hey, had fun last year and visited as many places as possible on the weekend. The best was the Carlu at College Park. Too bad they didn't open the bar.

Nice Open Doors for everyone. You tend to appreciate what this city has got to offer.]]>
