Thank you for your great comments...Yogagurl does make bamboo organic cotton t-shirts. Yes cotton is not the best choice but flying in bamboo and hemp from India and china is not great for the environment either. I think right now local designers are faced with alot of cost associated environmental & personal decisions and you have to look below the surface to see what is really green and what is greenwashing...i personally believe you are still better off supporting local rather than overseas, but this sounds like a whole other article! :)]]>

I appreciate all her hardwork; however if she is genuinely serious about reducing the carbon footprint of her line, she should switch to organic bamboo or hemp fabric. Cotton is well-known as the absolutlely worst crop in terms of enivromental and petro-chemical effects. It is the most-detrimental crop in terms of water usage and processing energy. Even organic cotton is terribly wasteful.]]>
