Thanks for expressing your ideas. I'd personally also like to say that video games have been ever evolving. Better technology and enhancements have made it easier to create genuine and active games. Most of these entertainment games were not that sensible when the real concept was first of all being experimented with. Just like other designs of know-how, video games as well have had to grow via many years. This is testimony on the fast growth of video games.

I agree with what is said about Veronique at Crepes a Go Go. As a member of the French community I had some friends working there and they confirmed that : she is rude and definitely deserves a good spank. Besides that, the crepes are good (but not as good as in France, where they are also much bigger). It would still need a Jambon-fromage crepe, one of the most simple and cheapest one to do !

I have been to Crepes a Go Go a few times and I had a chance to talk to Veronique at an event I was volunteering at. She seemed pleasant enough in person and was nice to the volunteers at this particular event. However, I have also seen that she is very controlling in her restaurant. Maybe that is part of the reason why the food is so good, but, it really turns me off wanting to go that often too. The added comments about her labour dealings , while not verified/confirmed in any way, make me wonder about her even more... If people have had this happen to them they should approach the various government organizations related to this. If they are on a legal work exchange visa they should support you in getting your payment without having to go to court. Even if someone has gone back to France. One of my friends got screwed over on an internship before at another job where she was suppose to get a small stipend and she also was scared to go after the employer.

One thing I noticed is that my food was ready on my last trip there but the employee couldn't pass it to me directly, he had to wait for Veronique to finish what she was doing so that she could come over and pass it to me herself and rip the paper outercover. It seemed like over a minute of waiting there... Lastly, I had ordered with a friend (one after the other) but the crepes weren't done in order and it was a long wait between the two. She told me off and told me that I should have told her they were both together! Common sense would be that orders would be first in first out.

Curious, which place location does she spend the most time at? She can't be at two places at once.

I can confirm with Heather's comment. One of my French girlfriend worked there over her staying in Toronto with a working permit. She said that Veronique (the owner) was a complete B*tch. Yelling and swearing at the staff all the time. She would forced the staff to pay for the uniform. And my friend got fired just few weeks before she had to go back to France and never got paid. She said it happen to few past employees and that she is well known for that in the French community in Toronto. My friend had try to bring it to court, but realized that it wasn't worth the court money. I guess the owner knows that most of them wouldn't bring it to court because of the limited time they have in Canada. I do not support such horrible ethic.

There is no rule about savoury crepes having to be buckwheat. You may be thinking of the custom of referring to the savoury versions as galettes (de sarrasin), which CAN be savoury, but not necessarily, and buckwheat is not restricted to savoury crepes/galettes.

It's funny that you've mentioned that Heather, because the two times I was there, the owner was yelling something in French to the staff that I couldn't understand.

Crepe a gogo might be good, but I hate the way she operates her business. I have heard nothing but bad things about how she treats her staff. She swears and yell at them in French so the customers can't understand. She hires French people with a working permit, and right before the end of their visas, she fires them and just won't pay, knowing that they can't do anything since they have to go back to their country. Plus, it is not authentic if the savoury crepes are not in buckwheat. NO THANKS!

Well deserved win by Crepes-a-Go Go. I lived for a year in France, and there wasn't a single crepe I tried that was better than this restaurant.

Well done.
