I don't think it's "irresponsible" to state an opinion - it was the author's least favourite day - she never said it was the worst day of the week. It was just busier and made it harder for everyone to view and enjoy the shows.

Aren't blogs around to allow people to state an opinion? ]]>

The thing is I'm not relying on one source - the link you gave offers no coverage of the final night either, and I had gone to it before counting on blogto. It's irresponsible to make statements like "This was my least favourite day" when there's no reason to back it up.]]>

It was packed on Friday - I was stuck behind a whole pile of people and kept running around to try and get a line view of something. I was able to see that Satan's Candy band (so fun) but because I actually bothered to get up off my seat to see them, someone stole my seat and I got stuck behind everyone. Satan's Candy didn't go on until 8:30-ish so they were playing when that "empty press seat" was available - and they weren't playing on the runway.

I wish they had put the shows on the big screens - that way even us 5'2 people could have enjoyed the actual fashion events.

You can check out more coverage on www.torontostreetfashion.com - or even just google "toronto alternative fashion week" - you'd be surprised at all the links that come up rather than relying on one source. ]]>

Seems to me when Satan's Candy was playing on Day 3 at 8pm there was ample room to grab a "press" seat. I was sitting next to one that was empty well into the 8:40 runway show start and was then taken by a model's friend.

Too bad you didn't bother to catch the show because designers such as Kon-Flikt, UsThemWe and Asphyxia and Magdalena had amazing, futuristic and modernist designs that were worthy of mentioning on an alt-media's website.]]>

So your opinion on day 3 is based on not getting a press seat or by not seeing more than the Satan's Candy, who played the opening of the night? I'm curious because I only caught the final night and was hoping for a more informed overview of the event.]]>
