It's been tough times for booksellers.  There was the
store in Halifax that just closed after more than 160 years
of service to the public.  Ballenford books are going out
of business and now this.  

Times are changing. 

Further proof comes from the decline of CD sales and
uptake of media downloads and that is affecting
record sales everywhere--remember Sam's?
