I love the review!
I love Indian food..and I have gone to some awful places where the food is so disappointing. It's true you need some spice..but these pics make me hungry!]]>

I agree with DS that I would have liked more info on the food (more details on each dish -- presentation, taste, price -- as well as service) rather than just a summation. Still, I did enjoy the style of the writing -- cute and energetic, just managed to this side of fun rather than overbearing.

DS's suggestion is also interesting; it would've been a nice insight into how Jaipur Grille can handle customers' individual requests. ]]>

TORONTONIANS TAKE NOTICE!!!
Indian Cuisine (especially North Indian) has been wrongfully labelled as SPICY! This is a HUGE misconception when it comes to the food of North India.

On that same note - not to say you cant have your food spicy, but the spices in traditional indian cusine is to enhance the flavours of the foods you are having.

It not our fault that we have this misconception, rather we have been conditioned by the long-running indian restaurants here in north america.

I first had dinner at Jaipur Grille about 5 years ago - shortly after they had opened - and I have always come back for my 'fix'.
Not only becuase the food is outstanding, or that the service was prompt and friendly, but becuase their restaurant is built on the idea of trying to give Toronto real indian food, and break the cliches of overspiced food!

Keep it up JaipurGrille!

I like dining at Jaipur Grille because they don't inundate the eater with spicy heat, although if you ask them to make your dishes spicy they will do so. Yonge & Eglintoners don't really like the risk of heat, I've found.

I wish though, that this article contained more information about the food you ate, instead of metaphors and point form notes. This seems to be more like a blog entry than an actual review.
