Iam a vegetarian and find the hot food barely luke warm at the Big Carrot, not tasty and overly expensive - dont like the meat so near the cafe. What does all that have to do with a health store called the Big Carrot? Very limited parking and got towed from outside the store too. There is free and more parking at Ambrosia just off Yonge St, Organic Planet in Richmond Hill and Health Depot in Scarborough. Prices are are better in these stores too.
When I spend 100 at the big Carrot, the same items cost between 70 and 82 at these other stores.]]>

I love Carrot Common (the Big Carrot) and their vegetarian cafe! Unfortunatly, it's located just beside the rows of meat. Due to the space, they can't change this so be sure to get the popular seats facing away from this animal disaster!]]>

nice store but pricey compared to some of the others and last time I went there my car was towed from off the Danforth -no free parking like other stores. Also food that is supposed to be served hot frequently is luke warm because yes they microwave their food to zap it. Even the soup is often just warm instead of piping hot!
