I'll have to respectfully disagree, Matt. I find Future's mash and gravy to be watered-down - a sharp decline in quality, compared to a few years back. (But I'll still continue to visit for the atmosphere and Dufflet cakes!) Is it ridiculous that my mouth actually filled with saliva when I saw the posted pictures? I can't wait to try out those other places!]]>

I'm still calling Future's better than Victory or Tulip. Haven't been to the others. Future's mashed potatoes are the only ones I will go out of my way to have - particularly on cold, wet October evenings. Hmmm... craving them right now. Back in a flash.]]>

A note to Maria, who commented on Part II, that I did find some vegan mashed potatoes. Will update the post later today.]]>

Hah... The Senator is definitely more central compared to the Tulip, but if we're picking sides, she's an east side. I can't strip the geographic title just 'cause it's in that yonge-to-dvp 'east' that isn't east enough for some.
*wink nudge*
I've re-worded for you, Gloria.]]>

I'm going to be nitpicky here, but man, the Senator is definitely not east-end! At least, to most east-enders I know (who live east of the DVP). ]]>
