What were you guys expecting....Fellini's 8 1/2 ?

I thought this movie was incredible. Best thing he's done since Opera. I do agree that how Dario fits into a world of
HOSTILS, and SAWS 1-4 is kinda frightening but it's no reason for the dude to hang up his hat either.

Big props to Colin for giving Toronto the first crack at this puppy. Even the Italians have to wait six more weeks -

To be fair, sometimes the selection criteria for MM aren't always quality based. Getting Argento in town was a pretty big win for his fan base and for cult filmmaking in general; doesn't excuse the fact that the movie was terrible, but it does explain how it got here.]]>

What a piece of crap. In Colin Geddes blurb for the flick he wrote reassuringly about the amount of gore. Too bad he doesn't have any higher criteria for selection. We love going to MM, but it would be even more fun with good films. C'mon Colin, get some standards next time.]]>

I'll be checking out Asia Argento in Une vieille maitresse (Catherine Breillat's latest erotic drama) next week. Knowing Breillat's unabashed tendencies, I'm sure I'll be seeing "a lot" of Asia's finest qualities.]]>
