I have dined at Mezbaan numerous times. In fact, they catered my brother's engagement party and were more than generous with the price and portions. The food is amazing and I have never ever had any problem with service or cleanliness. I have always a great experience there and will continue to dine there. No one is perfect and having worked in the hospitality industry, I've seen many fine dining establishments get a conditional pass. I am sure that in time any issues will be remedied. Someone definetely sounds disgruntled.

As a frequent diner at both Mezbaan locations, I can attest to both the open kitchen policy AND the extremely high quality of the food. In the many dozens of times that I have eaten big, full, multi-course meals at Mezbaan, I have NEVER felt even a quiver of queasiness afterwards. I, for one, will continue to frequent Mezbaan and urge others to go and judge for themselves.

I have eaten at this place many times and had my own restaurant and I applaud the owner for replying and the guy Jonathon Scott as scum for taking these pictures it is obvious that he doctored the place to look that way because on many occassions I have seen the place outside and u can see the kitchen from were u order and I can tell you I have never seen the place like the way the video shows, clearly made for the video. When I had my store I also received some complaints from the city inspectors and believe me they do things simply for creating misery, they work on point systems what they do is for themselves not simply for the benefit of the customers. I hope that wherever this guy goes in life he gets what he deserves another firing. Keep up the good work Mezbaan......your loyal customer.

Hi everyone,
First of I should tell everyone that these pictures were taken by the same employee that was fired for keeping the place dirty. He was warned repeatedly to keep his area clean. When he was told that he was going to be let go for not keeping the place clean he purposely made the place dirty and took this defamatory pictures. I can assure any customer who has a complaint about the food that we keep this place very clean. The inspections speak for themselves, the infractions were easily correctable to which we did. Unfortunately when you have a bad employee as Jonathon Scott was you get problems like this. We have an open kitchen policy anytime for any customer. Our customers are our first priority. Call me directly if you have any concerns or issues, my email is javestar@hotmail.com and my number is 416 399 0471. Think about why this guy shot this picture, he narrated it and directed it so the pans and towels and flour on the floor were put there purposely.

Yeh it is a pitty, that such a place that serves good food, doesnt take to good food handling..and i should know, being the former employee.....imagine how i felt working in such a place. Anyhow....i just hope the owners realize now......that money isnt everything...........but id think twice before going to either of the Mezbaans.................

It's a pity that some restaurateurs are quick-buck penny pinchers. The thought that one would compromise the health of the general public is nearly stomach churning. Indeed the video is quite stomach churning.

Is it time now for a school for restaurateurs and a diploma to attest to their capabilities to serve the general public? At this rate, yes. And that's a sad comment on society that one can't trust what's served in a public facility.
