<p>Aaargh, I was beaming throughout this whole post until you mentioned <em>Fugitive Pieces</em>.&nbsp; I&#39;m just not a Podeswa fan, and would have loved to see Cronenberg&#39;s new film open the festival.</p><p>I am, actually, quite excited about <em>YPF</em>, in the sense that I hope it will bring a Canadian sensibility to the subject matter which wasn&#39;t necessarily reflected in something like <em>Shortbus</em>.&nbsp; I&#39;m very interested to see how it all plays out.</p><p>(And if <em>Bon Cop...Bad Cop</em> is the highlight of contemporary popular Canadian cinema, we are in desperate need of help.) </p>]]>
