I walked for 8km in the rain to get to my mechanic. Hence the wet t-shirt. Bah, I hate cars. Okay, enough about me...now, for Harry Potter.

You said his name! Nooooo! I just prefer to call him Tom Riddle. So much less threatening, right?

I personally didn't like the fifth book much - in fact, I enjoyed the film more. The acting was quite impressive in the movie: Radcliffe was fantastic, and while she didn't have much of a part, Bonnie Wright's facial expressions througout the movie were fantastic. Looking forward to seeing more of her in the sixth movie.

I think Staunton's performance was great for the way it was written, so I don't fault her for it...I'll blame it a bit on Yates, who I believe succumbed to first-time-blockbuster-director cliches a bit when it came to Staunton's part and Harry's over-dramatic response to the death of ****** *****. He did do a good job in general though, and I'm sure he'll do much better for the sixth installment.

Highlight of the movie for me was clearly newcomer Evanna Lynch as Luna Lovegood. Not only was she absolutely perfect for the part, but the character was written into the script at all the right times. Fantastic.

Good job on the podcast Matt. Been a while since I've heard your voice on blogTO.
