If you're a little farther east (as I am), you may find it faster to take get on the Danforth subway line, and take the Warden bus northbound. The Warden bus actually goes north of Steeles ... at which point you may be asked for an extra fare, but you'll get off to walk one block west.

If you look at the map, the Warden station is quite a bit north of Danforth, so you gain a bit of distance for heading up to Steeles.]]>

There was a night market downtown last year at Metro Hall but I think it was specifically related to the AIDs conference so I guess it won't be repeated.

Being on Steeles Ave E it is only in Markham by a matter of feet, there's TTC bus service on Steeles or if may be more convienient to take the VIVA green line from Don Mills station on the Sheppard line, get off at the Steeles-Esna stop and walk one block east.]]>

There's public transit to Markham too. Not every event can or should be right in your backyard, right? :)]]>

markham? really? shouldn't it be the "Markham NIght Market
?"

sounds like a great idea but too bad about the location... not especially accessible for those without cars, is it?]]>
