"i guess that's a neat idea, but those search lights that i always see light up the sky in toronto during events or whatever have got to be one of the biggest wastes of energy i've ever seen."
The Pulse Front lights use less energy a night than a single hockey game at the ACC or a Blue Jays game at Rogers Centre. Its a matter of perspective.]]>

I saw these from Bathurst and Harbord while in front of a friend's place, but only a flash of like 7 fanned out for a split second, and I couldn't tell if they'd really been there or I was having a seizure or something. It wasn't until a while later when we were in Trinity-Bellwoods that we spotted them, and then they were going crazy all over the place.

I was tempted to go down and see what was up, but wasn't really interested in biking all the way down to find out it was some dumb nightclub or commercial promotion like it generally would be. They're definitely more intense than usual, though.]]>

When I was young we used to see these strange points of light in the sky... they called 'em "stars"...]]>
