I must confess there was no thought behind my photo; I was just walking along Wellesley from Riverdale Farm when I noticed leafprints in the sidewalk. Whether or not they were intentional, I don't know, but I thought the image summed up city living pretty well.

The Toronto downtown 360 image was a happy coincidence of being in the right place with excellent weather and lots of time. A sparkling, beautiful, clean city seen from on high.

I shot three rows of 18 photos (54 photos total) to make this composite. I've printed it at 20" square, but a full-size print would be closer to 50" square.

This imaged featured on the cover of Toronto's spacing magazine (spacing.ca).

Oh how exciting to have my picture here. Here's a little more about it, I work with the Toronto Bird Observatory banding birds to monitor migration. That was taken at our High Park banding station, and cardinals are notorious for biting, hence the firm grip. While taking another shot, he lunged and held on to my partners finger, but he wouldn't let me post that one :P

I was just looking at that Painting with Light shot!
