Very poor service and the food is slightly worse. Anywhere else would be better. ]]>

College Street is so yesterday - stop obsessing on this one restaurant when most of College Street is the same - besides live and let live. A note to “alias” After all that banter on “mangiacake” people (whatever that is lol) it shows you have no class and no business critiquing restaurants or anything for that matter. You’re the reason why decent Italian people have a bad rap. ]]>

I'd also like to add that the service is appalling. There's isn't anything worse than hostesses that make you work for a table. And the bread they use for their sarnies is never fresh. ]]>

Do yourself a favor and walk across the street to Capitol. The food and service are top-notch (and far more authentic), the patio is the same size as Diplomatico, and you don't have to wait in line for 20 minutes just to eat a pizza pocket.]]>

I think this place is totally over rated. Yes, the patiois nice. Yes the atmosphere is pretty pleasant. Yes it has been around ofr decades and has a place on the retsaurant scene...Yes it's open late....but the food...white washed pedestrian italian food.

Frozen calamari, bottled salad dresing on salads and over cooked fish. They give you packaged seafood sauce. "pick you own sauces" show little confidence in the chef's abilities to show their cuisine how they see fit. Iceberg lettuce disgraces salads...I could go on.

This place is great for "run of the mill" mangiacake people...the ones that grew up on wonderbread and kraft dinner. if you anything about high quality food, I wouldnt eat here. I keep giving this place second chances and I keep getting dissappointed...my espresso didnt even have crema on it! ughhh..]]>
