Best fish sandwich I've ever eaten, by far. Can you really compare it to a good steak sandwich? I don't think its a fair comparision, but if you like fish, get your ass to the fish store. I had the blackend cod. This sandwich is a game-breaker!]]>

The best place in the city for a fish sandwich- it's been consistently excellent every time we've been in the last six years since we first discovered it. I've NEVER been disappointed and we are fussy about our food. Not only is the fish perfectly seasoned and of course absolutely fresh and tasty, the bread in the sandwich is always fresh with a most pleasing texture and taste. Unfailingly gracious ultra polite and friendly service. Recommended as a sunny day place to drop in with out-of-towners for a fast, delicious and healthy lunch on the little italy patio. ]]>

This place is tiny! I had their catfish sandwich. Tasty, but it was dripping in oil. I'm not sure if it was from the fish or too much oil being used in pan-frying. I also had the Manhattan chowder, which was poor. It was overpowered by tomatoes (tasted like maybe campbell's tomato soup) and had very little clams.

The place isn't bad, so I'll try them again.

BTW, what's with all the Korean owners (I think these owners are). They seem to be everywhere. ]]>

Best place to get fish in the city. Cheap and fresh, cooked to perfection every time. To answer Joe, the shrimp sandwich is amazing. The owners couldn't be nicer too.]]>

I get my fish there on a weekly basis and have never been disappointed! I really like the wild salmon on offer but for a real deal the whitefish selection is a guaranteed winner.]]>
