Last year's Nuit Blanche was one hell of a night. There were some great showcases, performances and works of art. 
Overall what made it great for me was the atmosphere it created. Seeing the sidewalks on Queen totally packed, running into friends everywhere and talking about what they had seen, even the rain, no one seemed to care it was raining.
It might have helped that I was piss drunk from 7 on too.
