I just saw my first live performance at the new Opera House. It was the dress rehearsal for one of the National Ballet's upcoming performances and I have to say wow. The acoustics of the live orchestra were impeccable and the dancers almost seemed to soar off the stage. To watch them go from ultra tutus and sappy classical ballet duets to sexy, cutting edge modern dance routines...well the whole experience was a treat. I'm starting to get what all the fuss is about ;)]]>

Marc,

I just found out about a restriction and had to take my post down. Pictures of the sets on the stage are a no no. I think everything else is fair game though. Be sure and ask the tour guide.]]>

I've been waiting for a chance to see the new opera house... I'll have to take the tour when I have a free Saturday. Does this happen every Saturday or was this a one time deal?

Do they have any restrictions on photography?]]>
