Tanja's map will just end up sending the map-challenged to Hamilton. Obviously there are online maps available, though, and in brief: the place is just off Dufferin between St. Clair and Eglinton. ]]>

If you want to experience authentic Mexican food, well, Rebozos is as good as it gets. Forget about sour cream, yellow cheddar cheese, and any of those things American TV has made you believe to be Mexican, they are not.

This austere joint in its unusual location will educate you gastronomically. Service is way better and faster than at El Jacal (Bloor Street, east of Dufferin), food is unfathomably superior than at Tacos el Asador; hey, it's even better than at El Trompo (Kensington Market). But here's the best part: it's actually cheaper than any of the other places. So there,go try good Mexican food for a change, or spend more money on food you might like, but do yourself a favour: don't pretend it's real Mexican food.]]>

I find it amusing to hear how many view Rogers Rd to be somewhere way up north. Here I am near Downsview Park and I'm thinking that Rogers Rd is a long trip south! It really is all Toronto and I appreciate restaurant reviews that are in my Toronto neighbourhood too, not just the central core.]]>

They were one of the people catering the Now anniversary party and they were amazing.

Rogers is a bit far for some of us, but it would be a great trip if I had a car one day or found myself in the neighborhood.

At the risk of starting a flamewar better served on the chowhound message boards, the tacos at El Asador are alright but don't even come close to Rebozos. Trust me, they're worth the trip (get your girlfriend to drive you if you don't wanna take the bus).]]>

Hey this sounds enticing!

I have yet to consistently enjoy authentic Mexican food in Toronto... since well Mexico! Seriously, there's usually a Ma and Pop place that's around for a little usually on College Street but then it disappears the next time I go!

I will def check out Rebozos. Gracias!]]>

Where the hell is Rogers (at Boon)?

For the rest of us, go get Tacos al Asador at Bloor and Clinton. Pupusas are the national food of El Salvador, and I had four of them tonight!]]>
