Ou contraire Ryan, I was more than happy to be audience to an author that made much of his actual performance of the text. In fact, all three authors on the podium that evening had their own engaging style - the tongue twisting characters in Chandra's prose, or the way-back-when style of Toibin.   Perhaps I've just been to far too many "straight" readings, but this was a delight for content and presentation.  See for yourself all -- bookshorts.blip.tv has the video :)]]>
