(corrections) Hey fellow shooters, Ossington and Bloor Cheese was taken last week while hunting for stencils for my street art archive on flickr. I found the stencil on a canada post stoarge box just north east of that intersection. I am constantly astounded by the art that graces our streets but saddened but how quickly it disappears behind another poster or erased by paint. I have been taking photos in Toronto for about 15 years, I mostly publish my images in Brick, a literary journal. See you in the streets and thank you including my photo in your roundup this week. Much appreciated.

Hey fellow bloggers. My name is Gabe and I am honoured that the blogTO team, namely Jerrold selected my Ho Ho Ho Santa shot for the blogTO Flickr Forum. It was taken at Eaton Centre just before the madness. I have looked at the same spot few times as I thought it's a perfect spot just to capture people walking by several flights below you. But this time it was Santa sitting there with kids. And once processed, thought the focus could be just on Santa and the child, using the fake tilt shift technique.

I've been doing photography a bit less than a year now. I document the city and events as they happen in our fab Toronto and surroundings. Gotta love our city!

What's cool is that this concept isn't just about skilled photography... it's as much about what the photo shows! You don't have to be a photography whiz to be featured. We want people to share their stories :)

I've FlickrMailed an invite to 6 photographers that recently made some intriguing contributions to the pool. I hope that they'll stop by and tell us about thier photographs in the upcoming week :)

Double-awesome. It's cool that we have the latest photo listing on the sidebar, but for those who don't check the group that often this'll be a great place to have a nice weekly wrapup. Brava.
