I remember Wayne, he promoted a couple of shows with my shitty band and played a couple of not so shitty shows. He's a cool guy.
And this music is pretty good!]]>

You, sir, are an ignorant fool (and a prick). Your knowledge of music and production is clearly next to none-existant, so why bother making statements which simply expose how little you know? First off, the beat doesn't even COME CLOSE to brostep. Skrillex is brostep. The beat in this song (or any of the songs I've heard from the band) sound nothing like brostep, dubstep, or associated genres. Secondly, you obviously can't tell the difference between distortion effects and autotune. The vocals in track have distortion applied, yes - but there is no evidence of autotune (at least as an effect - besides, nobody really uses autotune for pitch correction anymore, as there are better tools available).

Congratulations on being both a dumbass and an a-hole all in less than two lines.

I happen to like their music that I've heard so far, and think they are quite promising. If you don't want to support local budding talent, then don't - but don't come and trample on someone's effort in a public forum. That's just bad form. And that goes to all you other dickheads in here.]]>

A great addition to the burgeoning music scene in Toronto. Something here is reminiscent of CocoRosie (but way more electronic lo-fi fucking dance pop) and I absolutely love it. Looking forward to the LP, big time.]]>

This would be a great time to quote the guy from Billy Madison, you have added nothing of value, I award you no points.... That goes for both you and this beat.... Musically speaking (regardless of it being sort of chill) it is really just a collection of sounds made popular by other songs...will it be popular in a year??? It should be popular now if anything, sounds progress... this music did not.

Buts lets all play nice and say "sure some people may give them a shot in a while...." what a waste of internet space... that goes for you and the song.]]>

This comment thread (with the exception of Tuli's comment) is the exact reason why people will live the entirety of their lives without EVER achieving anything of value.

It's SO easy to criticize / make hateful comments about something SOMEBODY ELSE created - but fairly difficult to be creative and make something of your own.

Unless you can post a link of you making better music then this - please don't bother posting comments like "show me someone who can actually sing".

And for the record, I've seen Some Minor Noise live before and they were great. ]]>

zing! nailed it!

what DOES captivate young audiences? snarky twenty-somethings who think they are the only ones who have ever felt they are doing something original or forward-thinking. when the next generation is making sounds with lazer beams and projecting their concerts directly into your brain, the whole "electronic-rock" thing is going to seem really "boxed-in". ]]>
