I've recently discovered the BEST sushi on Bloor st - Unforuntately you just have to go a bit further west and spend a bit more than 3 bucks a roll. Rikishi, at bloor and shaw, is hands down the best affordable sushi I've had in this fair city of ours. It's incredibly fresh, delicious, authentic, and the staff is amazingly friendly and attentive. They're rarely busy and I can't figure out why - maybe because it's a bit off the beaten path - but as a New Gen fan for several years, I can say that if you're willing to spend a few extra bucks (I'd say a full meal averages about $15-20 pp as opposed to $10-15 at new gen) Rikishi is totally worth it. ]]>

Quite overrated and it seems like people in Toronto forget that there are other options for Japanese in the area. ]]>

Not bad. I didn't like their salad dressing (not tangy enough, just kind of creamy yucky). And although the Almond Shrimp looks like a tempting alternative to Tempura Shrimp, I wouldn't order it again, because it tasted pretty boring.]]>

I went to New Generation last night.
Have to say i was impresed with the food..
Spicy tuna roll was great although i was expecting it to be a monster like at Sushi on bloor.

The Sushi and Sashimi was great aswell!
In my opinion Sushi on Bloor stiil provides more bang for your buck.]]>
