ha HA! Kicked out of the National Gallery for doing something nonsensical at a retrospective for a dadaist! Splendid!

I'm not familiar with the man's art, but he sounds like a one trick pony to me.

I think you're right about Canadian artists just having to stick around long enough to be respected, and I'll add that it helps if you're one of the first of something. For instance: Lisa Steele.

Boring, self indulgent, narcissitic video art, which is only video art, rather than performance art, because it's on video. Ho hum, but she's in books.]]>
