The 100 Wellesley rooftop is extremely easy to get to. Just get in the building, go to the top floor, go through the door next to the gym, then the door to the right.]]>

Well perhaps you should pay a visit sometime. The building is very easy to get to. Then just go to the top floor and follow the exit signs.]]>

Nick: Tower is pretty neat - we used to go all the time before they gutted the body shop section; although beautiful from the outside, the tower is 90% open space - neat, but boring. The view from the roof, however, is stellar, especially at night. I'll probably be doing a 'Forgotten Landmark' piece on it (here) in the next couple weeks...

Some shady stuff was going on there for a while - at night, non-property cars would show up and 'search' the building - I had a suspicion some 'stuff' was being stashed there by the 3rd party...

Threnody: No, actually; the zoom on the lens I was using is deceptive, framing wise. 100 Wel. would have a sweet view, though...

@Jonathan: I've never been up the Tower tower, actually! Always been too scared of the asbestos warnings to even attempt an entry. Have you heard about its future at all? It's becoming the centrepiece of an art space/film studio complex.

FTFY = Fixed That For You, always accompanied by a slightly amended quote from the original posting. OR... to cheekily confuse matters further, LTGTFY: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=ftfy

I also just noticed that your second shot and the one I linked to cover much of the same ground. The Crossways, Tower Automotive, the High Park highrises, etc.]]>

Out of curiosity, how do you get up on to the roofs/high floors of buildings? Just press the elevator button and see how high you can go? ]]>

Nick, nice shots! I haven't been up the Tower automotive...umm...tower in a while - is the HUGE map still up in the office floor?

Oh, and call me an internet n00b, but what is FTFY?
