Of course. Hockey hockey hockey. Embarrassed is right.

Canada puts all it's attention, passion, and money on the good old hockey game - the luxury sport that is played by 6 countries in the world.

Meanwhile, you have real international sports like beisbol and futbol enjoyed by countless countries in the world, and Canada fails to succeed in competition with them.
It's a shame because the talent is there, but the attention, passion and money isn't.

I also like how Canada played their cards like they we're going to play Venezuela tomorrow - which would have been another electric atmosphere. Oh well good for Italy. Maybe Votto should play for them next time around.
Just another major upset at the World Baseball Classic. ]]>

When they showed a video of Canadian baseball stars Ryan Dempster got pretty vocal boos. Stairs and Morneau are definitely fan favourites (and they played).]]>

Weak.

It doesn't help that a bunch of our best players weren't on the roster, but still. Ugh.]]>
