We're some of those out-of-town visitors mentioned in the article. David's store offers a pleasant atmosphere, and David himself is great to chat with. Indeed, we have become friends in the year or so we have been shopping there. Check out our blog to see furniture from Haveli Home within our own Canadian haveli. ]]>

This place is incredible. It's full of really beautiful, one-of-a-kind items that will transform any room into something out-of-the-ordinary. If you love color and texture, and items that have a story to tell, this is the place to visit. It's also beautifully displayed so you never have to dig or root through items to find what you're after. David Anderson not only has an incredible eye for acquisitions, he has an eye for display.
I have a few gorgeous items I've purchased for myself (including a pouffe that inspires comments from every visitor to my home) and have purchased gifts for others -- which look far more luxurious and expensive than they actually were. And I have plans for more purchases, including some bed coverings.
Worth the trip...and worth talking to the owner to learn more about how he sources his incredible offerings.]]>

yes, i have been to this store. i purchased a few pieces. Whenever someone is over to my place, my guests always rave about the quality and style of the furniture i picked up from here.

I like this furniture for a few reasons. First of all, it is very solid wood. I have never seen furniture made from such thick pieces of wood. I am glad they deliver. i would never be able to get this stuff into my place without help. Second, i like the fact that they are all "one of a kind pieces." They are unique, stylish, and eye catching. The last thing i want is to have stuff that everyone has. i don't want to live in a cloned ikea society. Third, i like the fact that the prices are reasonable. They are not cheap, but not too high either. Actually, for the price, you get more than i think you would get elsewhere.

so far i have purchased a coffee table, side table, candle stands, chairs, bed, and office desk and chairs. I would highly recommend this place.
