Just wanted to say thanks for using my photo, I knew it would get on some article about carpooling or commuting, eventually.

And to add to the first comment about driving with Ahmadinejad, I give you driving with Hitler: http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/powers_of_persuasion/use_it_up/images_html/ride_with_hitler.html]]>

I love how they pump money into an advertising program advocating cycling. Why can't they pump money into the cycling infrastructure instead?

Many "potential" cyclists avoid it because of aggressive drivers that they will have to share the road with. They fear for their life. So this campaign's subset promotion of cycling is laughable because that money should be going towards bike lanes.

This city is so backwards.]]>

Hello there!

I'm glad that Carpool Zone was able to demonstrate just how well Smart Commute works. I'm not sure why the cynicism over our work with employers, though. We work with 60 employers that represent over 250,000 employees across the GTHA. Without the employers, we would not have been able to reduce 1.3 million single occupant trips and 17,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions during the 2004-2007 period.

Have faith, my friend.

All the best,

/mark]]>
