@Helen: It does not surprise me, since the veggie burger at BK is way superior than many overpriced ones you can eat at restaurants throughout the city!

Not that anyone will make me eat Poutine, mind you. But my son decided to work here, and that's why I am avidly reading these reviews. He is very positive about the place.

you can get veg poutine at clinton's (corner of clinton and bloor) but they seem to use frozen fries so that ruins it. also, i saw it on the menu at futures on bloor.. i suspect they use that mushroom gravy they have there.
i didn't know sneaky dees' is vegetarian.
so, the count will be at 5! yay, cannot wait!

La Belle's (NOT La Belle Province) poutine in La Chute is the standard by which all others will be judged. It's a totally unfair fight, but dead seriously, you have not had a poutine until you've had theirs. I imagine this place will be fine (butter chicken poutine, though? Really? unghh), but if they don't get the one thing that no other poutine has been able to get right in Toronto (hint: the gravy), then it will be cheese-covered epic fail.

And while i don't know how well offerings like the 'butter chicken' will sell.
i am happy that this place will exist for my straight up poutine fix

Kenny don't be a dummy
we're talking about french fries here

i don't really think this has anything to do with toronto being 'Pretentious'
