You should know that nuit blanche encourages open call and independent projects... they list many of them on their site in addition to the official exhibits.  I think it's awesome that people are encouraged to get out and do this on their own - why not make it a regular effort? Like, all year round?]]>

I think that Nuit Blanche is something very special for creative people in the city.  It's like a big holiday just for us.  My most special memories from last year are of the impromptu stuff that people threw up spur of the moment, any of the stuff that was not part of official programming.  I am more excited than you can imagine for whatever off-the-rader surprises are waiting for me this year.]]>
