I spent the final moments of Nuit Blanche 2006 up in the CN Tower at 7am, and looking out at the city with pride and joy. It's a shame they didn't continue this tradition.]]>

I suspect there'd be a logistics issue given the number of people and the limitations on elevator/stairwell capacity. I wish they'd do a giant 'something artsy and cool' with the light show that night, though!]]>

Why are they not opening up the CN Tower again for Nuit Blanche? They did it 2 years ago and it was great to go up their for some night photography of the city.]]>

No joke Adam... I am ultra impressed with your map last year, seeing as I didn't include every single exhibit, only the ones I thought looked best :)

Still one of the best ideas I've seen for Nuit Blanche, thanks for the great example!]]>

I'm at a freikin' (work) conference all weekend (starting tomorrow..ugg); this just makes me more upset at what I'm gonna be missing; although, from my experience in being part of/helping/et cetera, it's just a bunch of 'artE' works-for-works-sake blah; in essence, art to be 'seen' and not ;looked at'-

I hope it's better than last year's event. Every exhibit I visited was the same:

1. Stand in line for a looong time.
2. While you wait, get pushed around by people snapping pictures with cell phone cameras.
3. Finally make your way up to the front.
4. Take three seconds to appreciate the exhibit before getting pushed out of the way by endless hordes of people with cell phone cameras.

This year my girlfriend and I are going to wait until 3 or 4 in the morning before we head out and hope for the best.]]>
