Since I wasted 60 seconds viewing that which should have been halted in construction just before the second wave excess concrete made it's way to this Bridle path dream, I'll waste another minute expressing the awe, chin dropping, second take eye balling this house deserves as an example of what NOT to build..............ever!.........picture this metal/concrete heap in the raw, cold, bitter days of winter....not exactly a home to warm up in...and to think you can have it for a drop in the bucket, cool $10M..what a deal.]]>

who cares about the exterior and interior finishes(can always renovate and put in whatever your like) when you are living close to the penthouse level at CP facing southwest and north with unobstructed view of the lake, cn tower, and queen's park]]>

In truth, I can't stand 95% of condos in this town: cheap outs either in architecture, interior finishings or construction quality.

Ever seen what $1.4 million gets you these days in upper Forest Hill? Tacky, vulgar cheap stuff.... I can only imagine the horror that is the Met, ROCP etc. (I've been to open houses in both buildings: garbage!)

Re: Met vs ROCP: I was being my typical superficial self: talking about the exterior only!:p

This Bridle Path house is in an entirely different league; sadly, it's still in an ugly part of town....

I already have a gorgeous view--the park across the street.]]>

A house without soul?

Beautiful.

(I enjoy new architecture that reflects contemporary attitudes and philosophy. Namely, that there is no such thing as a soul).]]>

one more.. if you like to have only one sink in the kitchen and half a dishwasher(yep, half a dishwasher that won't fit your pan or pot), go with the Met]]>

sure, if you like the view of the Barn and Remington's, go for the Met.. If the Met was so great, how come the price per sq ft so much lower than that of CP? Just look at the unit door, not even solid wood in the Met.. look at the baseboards they use at the Met, lol.. btw, if you like ceramic tiles, go with the Met.. I prefer marble, and amazing view.. plus express elevators... not just 3 in the Met...and if you like beggars sitting outside your building entrance, go for the Met... I prefer Mercedes, BMW, and porshe waiting in the drop off area

Murano, lol, not even finished construction yet.. just wait and see what the builder is going to substitute the material with]]>

Met is much better than ROCP. At least Met has a "proper" streetwall, and isn't disguised under some fake neo-gothic trimmings, cheap balcony doors and an awkard roof "cap."

ROCP-0, Met-1.
Met-0, Murano-1
83 the Bridle Path-1, Murano-1

all tied up, with no where to hide (under fake neo-gothic columns on Bay?;)]]>

what an ugly house. it has no soul.
all that light would also annoy me after awhile, particularly when you get the sun streaming in at 6:30 am on a saturday morning when you've been trying to sleep after partying.
blinds are a good thing....]]>
