The best new find in the Beach is Brick Street Bakery. It is their third location and the best one at that! They offer everything from organic gourmet sandwiches, traditional English pastries, organic local flour breads, the best croissants and lattes in the city. I am there almost every day! Definitely a must see when visiting the Beach.]]>

Hi Daniel

It's actually the opposite. The Beaches is a few degrees cooler in the summer and a few degrees warmer in the winter. If you think back to your public or high school geography (or troll the internet) you might remember learning about how a large body of water affects the temperature....it heats up and cools down more slowly than the land around it...come on over to The Beaches..you'll love it!]]>

I am thinking about moving to this area of the city. After living in the Bloorcourt Village area for 5 years my gf and I are ready for a change.
My concern is with the fact that I despise the cold Canadian weather and am wondering if living down in the Beaches means living through a colder winter due to being so close to the water.
If anyone has any answers to my concerns please feel free to comment about it. ]]>

Zane Patisserie
1852 Queen Street East, Toronto, ON, M4L1H1

You have to review this place and get the word out - best croissants in the city. Their pastries and cakes are top notch also. If you are getting tired of Dufflet being the sole option, and their fading quality, then Zane will renew your love of rich French desserts.]]>
