This Week in Fashion: Muttonhead Collective pop-up at Miracle Thieves, Fitzroy Boutique opens in Yorkville, Plaid Magazine TIFF party, Project Runway winner's shoes finally available in Toronto

Muttonhead Collective sets up shop on Crawford
The sisters behind locally produced Muttonhead Collective are setting up shop on Crawford this Friday with Ottawa-based Raised by Wolves and Vancouver-born Cuchara. The temp shop will pop-up for two days only at Miracle Thieves on Dundas West. Shop the fall/winter 2011 collection, in all its simplistic, unisex and patriotic glory. Find out more here.

Fitzroy Boutique opens up in Yorkville - until the end of September
It's that time of year again, when the seasonal Fitzroy Boutique sets up shop in Yorkville. Why go? The handpicked assortment of merch by owners Ange & Jules — mostly independents with superb quality — is limited, so you won't end up looking like everyone else. Look for goods from Brandy Melville, Whitney Eve (designed by Hills castoff Whitney Port), and Australia's Bardot. Until September 30, 162 Cumberland Street.

#TIFF! Plaid Mag plans fash party at the Hoxton, get your tix
Plaid Mag is throwing one of the rare mag parties you can actually get into during TIFF — if you buy a ticket. In conjunction with the Hoxton, the new Social hotspot that opened up in August and will play host to many parties over the course of the festival. Miami Horror, who's opening up for Empire of The Sun earlier, will be on hand for a set and a drink. Find out more, get on the list, and catch the buzz here.

The drop: Project Runway winner's shoes are finally available in Toronto today
For the first time since the partnership was announced a year back, Payless decided to finally stock Project Runway winner Christian Siriano's fall line in its Toronto stores. Due to popular demand (the stuff isn't bad), the collection drops today. This second collection contains much of the same: six styles including pumps, ballet flats, oh-so-popular oxfords, ankles boots, and sandals. There's also a new diffusion line inspired by the New York Fashion Week fall 2011 runway, with Sirano's Gotti gold accents. But we won't hold it against him since most items range from $33 to $55 a pair.
