A very interesting post-thanks BlogTO. Some comments…
Meher-the red of her coat and of her bag are different. The outfit would look so much better with a chocolate brown bag.
Rita-Beautiful! Bold! Blond! Amazing!
LL and Dimitri-honestly, they look like they shop at Value Village and sleep on the street
Chrissy-very nice and sophisticated. Love the glasses and the shoes.

Oh, and it was great to see Urszula! Keep it up BlogTO!

I know, Chrissy's shades rock!
My fave store on Queen West must be Bedo.

I've also recently started a new Toronto fashion blog. I'd love your support. I've added your link to my blogroll.

Thanks!

Laura-Lynn has a run in her stockings. Classy.

Chrissy's look almost matches her bag.

I agree with your comments about Meher...she's not that well put together.

Black stockings and gloves with what appears to be a gray dress, then brown boots and a salmon jacket and then a red purse which clashes with the salmon jacket. The colours are nice, but they're just all over the place

I hate when people who know nothing about fashion and current trends have to comment on a run in ll's stocking or how ll & dimitri look like they sleep on the street (classist much?) .. it just makes you sound like you're 45 and currently dressed business casual.

Everyone looks hot. PS nice legs, women.

This is one of my favourite Street Styles yet! So happy to see more mature looks and an overall wider range of styles. Urszula looks beautiful, Rita looks great, so does Chrissy. And I also love David's blue shoes!

Yep, David ftw for sure. The shoes are amazing, but his whole ensemble looks sharp. I bet he's a little chilly though!

So what you're saying is that looking like a hobo is the cutting edge of fashion?

BlogTO's street style are consistently banal. Angelo, however, looks fantastic.

I'm amazed at all the fashion Natzis on here! (think soup Nazi from Seinfeld) People's decision to dress the way they do is a personal choice and many times there are various factors involved (i.e. money, personal taste, comfort, time, climate, job, body shape/type, age, etc.) Some people have an innate sense of style and always look "pulled together" (i.e. colour coordinated, predictable, off the rack, out of a magazine...whatever) whereas others don't really give a shit!! If they happened to be photographed for this posting, it may be because the person who took their photo saw something beyond the obvious fashion facade, and thought them worth photographing and posting on here. Please post a link to a photo of yourself and let us judge you!

I love this idea and, well, I must say that it nicely jives with a pro-Toronto post I just finished on The Daily Gumboot. Writing cool things about the Centre of the Universe might not sound like a big deal, but our blog is based in Vancouver, where I lot of people would frown on such photos. But that's not how we roll.

Check out this link and feel the love: http://dailygumboot.ca/2009/11/the-truth-about-toronto/.

Keep on keeping it real, Toronto. We're loving what BlogTO is doing!

Fashion or no fashion, those dudes would still look seedy.
That's just the cards that life dealt them.
Dimitri looks like he is on a day pass from CAMH.

so delighted that tights are out of sight.
I like the melange of people, so much better than previous posts where it seemed too cliche
I feel everyone has their own sense of style, and none are trying too hard or following specific trends - respect.
Love the blue shoes, he wears them so well
Rita looks great, im looking for similar boots
everyone has something to offer, i like it
even Jamal just looks old school - its not too bad give him a break :)
i just dont appreciate runs in tights, not classy at all - as bad as tights for pants

Jamal? Are those high tops? So 80's :) — do up your shoelaces fer cryin' out loud. Get it together man!

Meher, yah, too bad the coat wasn't the same colour as the bag. I think a turquoise bag and scarf would suit. Inna Miami winter style.

Angelo — uh, fashion management and all, freakin' shine those shoes! WTH? Is it the light? Am I seeing thing?...

dave and Lisa - Man. Those shoes are fucking blue. Migawd!. Pants -waaaay too long and a white T? feck. Jacket's too short too...Lisa is much more put together. By far, and no blue shoes neither. damn!

Urszula, nie wiem ale to palto...cos nie gra. Yeah, that coat, I dunno 'bout it. Nice tent in any case. Sry. Shoes are cool though.

Rita - smashing. Lots of shit goin' on and it all works well. Cheers!

Laura-Lynn - so Punk! 1/2 of hear hair is shaved down...cool, but couldn't she do something with the other half. No, I don't mean Dimitri, whom is wearing black. Amirite?. LOL. Just no Sophisticated Side Ponytail, mkay?

Meh, so her tights have a run - shit happens throughout the day - is she supposed to run home and change and shit? Nah. Try wearing white and see what happens. Someone will nudge you with that full cup of coffee - fer sure. Whachagonnado? :P

Chrissy - is hiding behind that bag and bangs, I dunno...hmmm, and shades. Yoiks!

As usual, been a laugh and I've been critical. With a smile though.

Don't catch me heading out the door to work — I look like shit and don't give a damn. I know, I need an attitude adjustment... :)

Meher wins as she's the only one not wearing the Toronto Winter Uniform: aka, black coat! She's kinda cute too, in a nerdy kinda way.

Jamal could pass for a construction worker that lives in a SRO in DES Vancouver.

oh good. i was just waiting for Toronto girls to cop onto Williamsburg's stupid half shaved head trend of 2009. it was only a matter of time. yawn.
