Burst Flowers

mar2506_burst.jpg
For the last few months I've been buying tulips and lilies at Burst, a cheerful flower shop on Walnut Street just south of Queen (near the old Octopus Lounge).

Despite the prevalence of corner grocery stores in the area selling some of the same flowers at slightly lower prices, I keep going back to Burst. The service is super friendly and helpful; and the flowers are treated better in the store which makes them last longer at home.

Burst has really great roses, such as you will not find at any convenience store. The guys are friendly (I always get a wave when I go by the store) and the arrangements are beautiful.

I appreciate the great little add-ons, such as fine chocolates and silver jewelry set with brightly coloured stones that provide a wonderful compliment to any flower arrangement.
