Are you on the hunt for original and creative T-shirts and jewelry? Well Toronto-based Ooglie has the answer! This Asian-inspired line boosts funky designs and cute characters as well as eye-catching jewelry. Founded by four friends in 2004, Ooglie is about embracing independence and being comfortable with oneself.

Ooglie is aimed at both men and women young and old, anyone that wants to have a little fun with style. The shirts are treated as a canvas, with the designs stretching from the front to back. High quality fabrics mix with funky colors and arrangements to create a truly unique line.

Ooglie's founder, "the Brain" has a history of creativity and design. In fact, she started designing shirts in high school and with some encouragement and support from her friends, decided to go professional. She launched her design project with a little help from said pals- Jewelie, Decomposer and Tech-Gurl (who prefer to use their aliases).

To see the designs first hand, check out the Clothing Show this September 17 & 18. However if you can not wait, the designs are available on the website which is defiantly worth a look, not only for the designs but the fun extras. Take a minute and see for yourself.

Saw these folks set up at 2005 Pride and their stuff is definitely cute. Definitely worth a look if folks are heading to the clothing show.
At the same time, I walked away from their booth with nothing because prices were a too steep for me.

I saw Ooglie at pride too. I really liked their t-shirts! I bought the Arcade T-shirt and I've gotten lots of compliments when I wear it. I didn't think it was pricey. Stores like bluenotes, american eagle and urban outfitters have similar prices if not higher and I think Ooglie has way better t-shirt designs. Anyways, their website it cute...worth checking out. Worth going to the clothing show to see the real products.

One of the staff on Ooglie is my cousin so I guess I'm pretty biased.. but even if I wasn't her cousin, I love the brand all the same.. I think they're really cute and yes, it could be pricy, but what do you expect from designer t-shirts?

What has happened to Ooglie?
They were not at the clothing show in the spring, and they weren't at the One of Kind Christmas show.
Now I can't get the website to work.
Are they still in business? I love the shirts.
