Btw, I have an exclusive deal (through a promo company) for first-time customers. Message me for details.
The pass may still be available.
Please email me at oliva at thecheapgirldotcom and I can connect you with the company/person who sells the passes.
I mentioned politely that I felt as though he was speaking rudely to me and this was my first time in the studio... and he said "I've done this for 8 years and I know what impression I'm giving" and then proceeded to answer the phone mid conversation thrusting a flyer at me........................ I think that says it all.
Needless to say he took a day where I was looking forward/excited to getting involved in from what I'd seen a beautiful studio.. and made me turn around and walk out the door with the decision that not only was this studio not for me... but if that's the sort of staff that they want to represent their business... they certainly wouldn't be able to provide a calm and relaxing experience and also don't have an appreciation for potential clients... nor those who truly love yoga/health and fitness.
maybe the teachers are talented.... i'll never know because i will not be returning... it's really a shame.
the spa does not seem at all professional and the quality of the spa services is lower than it would be if I had a friend help me out at home
the space is not properly set up to handle a spa
the hot yoga rooms make the location hotter than it should be to have a wax
product range and spa process are all over the place and unreliable
quality of service is not great with little attention to detail or correction on suggested improvements
the only exception to my feelings on the spa is massage and services like that - this section i would say is great and they have some very talented rmt's
overall YOGA-yes MASSAGE-yes AESTHETIC SERVICES-no!
Currently I have 2 days left on my complimentary card but after being part of a wedding this past weekend and taking pictures in 5 degree weather in our wedding attire, I caught a very bad cold and my sinuses feel like they're about to explode. Extremely disappointed I would have to miss the last 2 days I have left on my card I figured if I explained the situation, Tula Central would be more than happy to extend my pass for an extra 2 days. I mean it's not like I'll be getting any more classes than i paid for anyway. It's 2 days. What's that to them if it means a potential new client that they can make much, MUCH more money off of on a regular, long-term basis.
When I phoned this morning to appeal to them, the girl I spoke to very abruptly let me know there's no chance to extend those two extra days to a time when my body isn't feverish and my head doesn't feel like it's about to explode. Sadly, this completely un-empathetic customer service has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I will definitely not be returning to Tula Central. My plan after my last class was to purchase a monthly card but there's no way I'll be doing that now. Because now I know, should I ever find myself in a situation that requires Tula Central to step even 1cm out of their way to help a customer, I'll be given a very quick and abrupt "NO".
Having myself worked in customer service and currently running my own consulting business, I know what it takes to draw in clients and what it takes to keep them. For me to pick up the phone and appeal to Tula Central letting them know how great my experience at their studio has been up to this point and how disappointed I would be if I missed the chance to attend my last 2 classes is not something every customer would do. It was their chance to illustrate why I should become a regular and they definitely blew it. I'll be sure to tell my other 3 girlfriends who were trying out the studio so they don't waste their time and money on a business that clearly doesn't view its customers as it's number 1 priority.
Also, I've come across the owner sitting at the front completely lost in the computer and not saying a word to any clients walking in the front door.
I also witnessed the man at the front yelling at an instructor in front of clients walking in. This is not appropriate.
How do these people manage to run a business? They have no customer service skill what so ever.
A lot of negative energy in what is supposed to be a positive space.
Also, everything that people are saying about the male receptionist (part owner...shocking) is true. I tried to book an appointment at Tula Central and told me that the massage therapist had just left and pretty much got mad at me for not calling earlier. Huh???
