Specs & SpecsSpecs & Specs has been on Queen West for 16 years and selling fashion forward frames to hipsters since grunge still sold records. Their selection of labels avoids the obvious - names like Francois Pinton and ProDesign are featured - and prices are very reasonable, ranging from $150 to $300.

Good service, good selection, and excellent prices. I ordered a particular frame from Specs & Specs and they got it quite quickly. The fitting process was pleasant and prompt. Their price on this ProDesign frame was at least $50 or $60 less than a quote I received from a competitor. The nice optician who served me apparently miscalculated the cost of my high-index glass lenses, but the store very kindly absorbed the difference and didn't change their original quote. I love my new glasses, and I'd recommend Specs & Specs to anyone (and already have)!

Agree with above poster. I bought mine few days back, and quite happy with it. The sales girl(Bana)was friendly and quite helpful. Above all, she is amazingly patient. As far as price is concerned, they are pretty reasonable(200~500) plus service is pretty fast too; I got mine in 3 days. Before I come here, I'd gone to Eye on Church, and they asked me to wait for a week had I bought from them.

I never write reviews but felt the need to this time around. I have been buying eyewear from Specs & Specs for several years now and every time it has been a pleasant experience. They are able to get in just about anything as they deal with many different suppliers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are super reasonable. I love dealing with John because he really does understand customer service. My latest purchase has been a pair of Chloé sunglasses which were REALLY hard to find...but Specs & Specs ordered them in, let me try them on to ensure I liked them and then put the prescription lenses in -- all done in a span of a week! As I am always so pleased with the service at Specs & Specs, I just want everyone to know how great this shop is. Seriously, check them out.
